Yeah,that trailer reminds of training mission in first Driver...it was hard for me to pass it,i was playing for like an hour or so..maan..old days.  Hopefully we will see PC rls..

Exactly, it's the modern "remake" of the first Driver's mission..
I really hope that this will mean the return to the glorious roots of the saga  |

Even turning on/off the headlights will be routed through a server somewhere.
There won't be loading screens, instead there will be "Downloading" screens.

again, the first Driver game was awesome. Driver 2 was kind of meh. Driver3 (Driv3r, stupid name) sucked.
It would be great if they could resurrect the series with this game. But it's Ubisoft so we'll see.

Driv3r didn't suck. The on-foot controls were a tad wonky, but otherwise it looked good and had great visuals. Plus the escape from the cops mode was awesome! Great fun to try and beat each others times. |

Driv3r did suck...but then driver 4 was great so cheer up.
Looks like you missed out on Driver 4 so go play it now.

Parallel Lines? I always just counted that as an extension of 3. I didn't care for it much either, though. Better than 3 but not by much. Just seemed to be missing that "something" that you can never quite put your finger on...

first game was fucking great... tried to get it running on xp a while back, but failed 
second game... i dont think that was ever on pc, was it?
driver 3 wasnt anything great - yeah mainly because they tried to turn it into some stupid gta wannabe by allowing you to be a WALKER... guess they kinda forgot what game they were working on or some shit...
either way... eh ill give a new driver game a shot, but im definately not hyped for it...
and i see theyre following the hollywood style... instead of making a new installment, just reboot it. still think they missed a GREAT opportunity to go 'gangsta' with the next game, and call it DRIV4H

oh man, I'm pretty psyched for this one, I played and beat every game in the series for the PS2 (driver 1 is still my fav).
I remember YEARS ago being on the mission where you have to drive the president somewhere, and I haven't saved the game for about 4 hours..... in comes the cat and steps on the fucking reset button. FUUUUUUUU

....where as what i remember best from driver 1 was the free play mode. i think i spent most of my time with that game just driving around the streets... mp3 playlist, pickin fights with cops... the driving mechanics were so much fun.

Driver 1 was awesome, the rest sucked (tried D2 in an emu, didn't rock my boat), Driv3r sucked donkeys ass, Driver 4 didn't interest me the least.
If this truly brings back the game play, fun pseudo-physics and quest style, I'm sold.

Driver Parallel Lines(which was essentially part 4) was by far my favorite out of the whole series.It wasn't a mess like Driver3R was.I still play it.
I know the original was a driving only game but I hope they don't make this sequel that way.I prefer games where I can get out of the vehicle.
