somehow this leaked version is not that great, the textures look low-poly as hell and the variaty of things is patethic, i gues i'll wait for the 10$ version..
It's a interesting way to put it but the game has pretty low requirements so it obviously won't feature any advanced visuals albeit the screens still look fairly good.
(There's not that much of a difference between the creatures in the game screens and the ones in the above screens from the editor.)
Games like this is more about gameplay anyway.
(I guess it will be like this with Sims 3 as well.)
Seems today EA locked out the version of the creature creator that was leaked. You can still make creatures, but you can't upload them to the servers. Message on the website says you have to wait to the 17th to do it.

That makes no sense, what about just accepting some responsibility for your game and release it proper if it's been leaked?
Well so far they haven't deleted the creatures that were made from the Sporepedia at least. Guess they just want to hold everybody off til the 17th when people who don't use torrents will be getting it. Still not so bad, the way it works you can upload your creatures at any time, so once the servers are turned back on on the 17th you can upload everything you made between now and then.
The launch of Will Wright's Spore is still over a month away, but John Riccitiello is already considering whether consumers could be charged for extra content in the future.
Speaking in an investors' conference call, the platinum-coiffeured EA boss said he'd be keen to "monetise, if you will, body parts, plant parts, car parts and planets as a way to generate incremental revenue on an installed base of several million active users".
"But it's a little bit like pool," he continued. "I'm afraid if we spend too much time setting up the second shot, we'll miss the first shot."
Spore is launching in Europe on September 5th and in the US two days later. As you'll know if you've read our extensive previews, we reckon it's looking good - and Riccitiello agrees.
"I would love to imagine that two years from now or a year from now the debate is whether or not we need a 'Spore' label inside of EA," he said.
But at the moment, "It's all hands on deck to make September 7th the event that matters."
Who quarez, this is a good game + its from ea, so crack will be out in 2 weeks tops.

yes alone in the
dark is from atari

all EA games get
cracked besides
EA is a multi
billions company
it's very successful
and piracy can't even
scratch its surface
so they don't worry
about it.
and spore is like the sims
expect 500 expansion packs
alone in the dark not cracked
more the a month,
so,don't except crack for Spore
if the game will use the same protection...

alone in the dark
using
different
and tougher
protection
and that's
why
it hasn't
been
cracked
yet.
Anyways this game is most likely going to deserve to get every sale it gets unlike Alone in the Dark which I should have been treated just like its named... Also this is a much bigger release than Alone in the Dark so I'm sure the protection will get cracked this time. Once it is Alone in the Dark's crack will come out soon after.
