yeah, they were all cracked, although with a bit of delay(AITD springs to mind, or did that one use a different securom version?).
was darkc0der the first to crack all of them, btw ?
too bad that the saves from the demo aren't compatible with the full version. i played the demo for about 6 hrs and now i had to start over. but game is too much fun for this to matter much.

Yeah it's quite a basic HoMM type of game, in comparison with something like Age of Wonders.
Some of the quest dialogues and situations are comical, and the graphics are good for this sort of game. But the battles are dull, and wandering around the maps gets boring fast. I uninstalled after 3 hours because it dawned on me that I wasn't having any fun.

It's not really a clone. King's Bounty the original game was released in 1990, even before HOMM.
Both HOMM and King's Bounty were developed by 3DO in it's time but now 1C has King's Bounty and Nival has HOMM.

its quite nice. i have to admit that i did not get so much fun lately. i was sure that i will be happy becouse of SPORE, but...

i've got russian version and i don't feel like getting english version all over again.
just need that loc_ses.kfs to convert my russian version into english.

No such file in the English version, there's a Loc_Data.kfs file though and it's only 7MB.
EDIT: Compressed via WinRar and maximum compression but it didn't do anything, seems it's already pretty packed.

This game is a surprise, I didn't know about it until it was out but damn this game is addictive and the gfx is just beautiful to look at. The world is literally filled with animations all over the place, wow...definitely worth a buy.

It's not as good as HoMM in almost every way, but it's still a very good and addictive game.
I just bought the game to encourage such games on PC instead of shoddy ported console turds.

It's better than HOMM5 imo. The game starts very, very slow though. You have to keep playing, even if it's pretty boring at times.
