Ritual Entertainments website ( http://www.ritual.com/splash/ ) has begun a countdown. Ritual registered the domain www.sin2.com 2 years ago which used to link to this page http://www.legionpharma.com/
The last news about sIn 2 was that it got cancelled but that was also a long time ago...
Lets just wait those 17 days and hope...sIn multiplayer (and singleplayer too) was one of my favorite games! Especially a certain map that I recall where you where a miniature player and with a lot of sniping!

I loved playing sIn multiplayer on the Paradox map.

That was the one where you could run through a door and end up on the wall or ceiling of the adjoining room.

It was one of Tom 'Paradox' Mustaines better maps Smile

Yeah I remember this game, it was fun but reflective of the times because it was also a bit of a mess really.

I liked sin, I remember it as a pretty big game with lots of bosses. There was something really annoying about it though but I can't remember what it was.

I bought this back in the day and completed both including expansion. Was a great game especially later on as you progressed Elexis Sinclair was a total babe I remember being in her mansion and perving on her in the camera room as she lay in the jacuzzi going "rub ba dub dub" Very Happy also when you jumped out of the building as suicide and they showed the little cut scene where JC goes to Blade "smart move" heh I have to say I enjoyed the little touches in this game the characters were very likeable and the monsters were ownage! seriously check out the end boss "daddy" jesus christ I never crapped myself out as much till I saw that guy Smile

The ending is definantly worth a mention and watching over and over Wink

If there was one bad thing I didnt like about it then it was the Sound problems I had constantly but they did fix that after a patch or two. Also the expansion "Wages of Sin" had some nice weapons like that Nuke one.

If I have to be honest I actually liked this game more than HL, ok so mp didnt really take off but the story was great and the q2 engine wasnt bad either.

Don't forget that Sin was originally released with a bug that completely broke the game. One of the textures was corrupted and/or missing and when you had to enter the subway car you HAD to look at it to go by (unless you really knew where you were going) and as soon as you did, the game crashed.
You couldn't progress past that point until you got the patch (which was like huge I think, and that was before broadband was prevalent)

Hmm I don't remember this. I know that I passed the whole game without any problem and without the patch applied (I download it after i complete the game twice :d) and all what patch fixed is the time of loading new map or save.

I even checked what new patch fixed (u can check it too @ http://www.fileshack.com/file.x?fid=261)

Sin II Tease Decoded

A reader named Jackson sends along the solution to the puzzle presented by the LegionPharma Website, confirming that it is indeed a tease for Sin II (story). Putting together the following clues from the source code: "There is a message" - "The order is clear" - "The numbers never lie" - "P=Paragraph" - "First is the KEY!" - "P12-66/P1-13/P2-3/P6-39/P3-9/P4-4/P5-8/P7-14/P8-45/P9-6/P10-12/P11-45" - "P=Paragraph", he sought out the letter from each of those paragraphs to come up with the following message

ELEXISISBACK

Elexis Sinclair, of course, was the antagonist in the original Sin. BTW, "Sherilyn Palmer," listed as the company's founder, is John R. Blade's mother. More on this is sure to follow.

It depends when you bought the game. I got the original version, I believe a second version (without that bug) was later released. I'm fairly sure 1.04 wasn't the actual first patch either.
I'll see if I can find some info on it.
If you can remember the game its where you have to round a corner into a subway car (I think it was to end a level)
