Since the first ban wave is behind us, the scene should really consider doing *Proper* releases of fucked up earlier releases.
I'm not talking about the releases with missing stealth, this can easily be patched.
What I mean are release where the game data does not match a good rip from a retail disc. This can be easily be checked for with current XDVDMulleter version (do a full CRC against the online DB).
The problem with those releases is that Ixtreme has no way of detecting them but it would be very easy for Microsoft to find them.
Here are the releases I have already identified as having bad game data:
Pro Evolution Soccer 6 PAL ALLSTARS
Saints Row PAL MRN
If you have releases lying around as ISO please consider checking them with Mulleter. The steps are:
- View ISO
- Load ISO (takes ages to do it from disk)
- CRC Checking -> CRC Details
- [X] Check Game data, [X] Check Online Database
It takes about a minute and will tell you if your game data if fucked up. Note that the game has to be fully stealthed first!
