Someone recommend some good top-down shooters ala 1942 for the pc. Been duying to play a game like that for ages. Thnx alot!
Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!

Radiant Silvergun on SSF = win. Though it can be a bitch to get to work if you're unlucky, and I suck on it... but yeah.

My favorite one is still Raptor. Hehehehe, super old but man was it fun.

tyrian, ikaruga, raptor, raiden 3 are all great. the others i haven't yet tried 
also great are xenon 2 and river raid.
and for a newer one, there's space phallus. watch, then dload
it's free, it works perfectly with a controller, out of the box, no fiddling required. it looks awesome, the music's awesome and the gameplay just plain rocks.
get it now.
