according to previews its supposed to have tactical gameplay with terrain playing a larger role, basically back to the roots armored core 1 psx gameplay with slower mechs than in previous 2 games, which sounds great. atleast it cant be as bad as ac4 then.

I actually liked AC: For Answer a LOT! Was looking forward to this one. Appears to be a bit different though, hope I'll still like it. Never played the first couple of AC games. Battling White Glint was epic.

Got it preordered on ps3 so I'll hold off on downloading the 360 release. I think it comes out in a week or so in EU? I wonder if this will get more attention than previous armored core games due to From Soft's other recent titles that were quite successful Likot Mosuskekim, Woodcutter cancels Sleep: Interrupted by Elephant.

I burned it yesterday. This game has quite a steep learning curve for a newcomer to these series. Even the most basic stuff isn't explained so you have to look on the interwebs how things work. I haven't even tried playing against other people because i'm afraid to get instantly destroyed The combat itself is pretty solid, there's a truckload of different guns including giant sniper rifles or arty cannons. You can customize the mech to your own play style, lightweigt, CQC fighter, sniper, recon etc etc. Def. worth a burn if you like deep customization and integrated online play
