I installed the dx runtimes and vc redist included in the game folder, and also the latest nvidia driver.

After fixing the registry, I get "FalloutNV has stopped working" (access violation) here, can't figure out why. |

Yeah. I actually tried to create a FalloutNV registry folder in the Bethesda folder, getting the right folder name, but I put an InstallPath string in it, and they changed it to Installed Path, meh  ... |

I extracted the game from the DVD with sisinstall and got the crack from skidrow, but when I start the launcher I only get an install option, not play.
Maybe I'm missing registry stuff ...
