Already in Admin mode. I even tried Compatibility mode.
Edit: Installed Spybot S&D and only found 9 ad-ware. Removed and re-installing Mass Effect. Though I doubt that was the problem.

| Hmm so C++ 2008 Redist. did not seem to fix the problem. The event log still says the same thing. Not sure if it will help but the Event ID is 1000 in Event Viewer. |

| I ran virus scan yesterday actually. And of course, its always running. I have NOD32 and it did not detect anything. And the one from the CD does not work for Vista. I will try to install the C++ 2008 ... |
