There are 3 NPCs at the RC that only join if you lost one character.
And the only "limited" NPC is the starting one, the rest stay with you. |

In the 1st game of the series, age also determines your bonus when leveling.
Old age = more stats at start, less at level up.
Not sure if it is the same in this version. |

And if you do not suck badly, 7 wins in arena is infinite without counting daily quests.
If you "only" manage 5 wins, you can get a new arena with your daily quest.
And one run of 12 wins in arena ... |

They are expansion packs.
Each is a series of quests. You get a new auxiliary weapon from some, plus a starting blue/purple ql10 item. |

Hope a previous save will fix it
Had that same bug. Reloaded the save and them it worked, Thank God didnt had to do that annoying boss battle again. |
