I can think of one possibility I'd follow being in your case.
You got a DVD image of a game you want to burn, right?
So just pack it using .rar (or .zip - less recommended though) without compressio ... |

ToCS, you shouldn't save x264 movies into avi.
x264 is an AVC codec, which is supposed to use MP4 container, which expends the codec's possibilities. You can't reach x264 quality using .avi. I recomm ... |

I'd recommend using Virtual Dub instead of nandub, but the rest seems to be okay. |

I remember there used to be a problem with joining 2 .avis with different bitrates (even though they are the same movie, they can be encoded in a slightly different bitrate).
You can join them in VD ... |
