My friends looking at a system and the specs were -
Intel i7
8GB Ram
Geforce GTX550 1gb gfx card
2tb Hard Drive
But the PSU was only 330watt..... Does that not seem a little low wattage?? |

I think all laptops come with recovery partitions or at least all Windows 7 ones at least anyway..
Its just this one I couldn't use due to hard drive failure  |

You don't need to use a loader, just install the correct certificate and product key that matches the manufacturer of the laptop.

I used the daz loader option in the end... New discs would cost £38 and the drive is completely dead so cant use the inbuilt restore partition or do anything with it |

Thanks all so SATA is 150 MB/s and SATA2 is 300 MB/s??
Looks like it was a SATA 2 I got anyway, it just said SATA on the box but in the specs it said 300 MB/s

removed that user.js file and deleted the prefs.js file and restarted firefox and all working without that user.js file |

tried but didnt work.
In the end I had to add the line -
user_pref("network.http.accept-encoding", "gzip,deflate");
into the user.js file
