| I couldn`t even see the main screen, it went black before the intro was shown. Still, sound was playing normally. I read that we need to install the directx from the disc but its not working anyway. |

I can confirm that my game freezes for 20 sec every 10 min. I have also a pretty good rig (PhenomII x4 945 & 5850) but I`m still using old xp sp3

| in dow2 I was able to change some settings and unlock ultra. And I have xp 32bit x86 and 4gb ramm, anyway my 4870 1GB can do this game on ultra. |

If You have game installed on another partition (example e:\games\modernwarfare2) then You need to write it in bat file.
e:
cd e:\games\modernwarfare2
START iw4mp
