tried it on automatic then custom before eg to c:/jericho as opposed to automatic default install and got the same problem ,thanks for trying to help by the way
i cant even get the damn game to launch all i get is the message "can not initialize 3d engine". shame really as i would have liked to have played it,suppose i could always go and buy it sometime
