| I think if I recall what was said on the forum in the bioware links above, for that mission you have to go through the stuttering to get past the black screen. |

Yeah that's right, HYS. It was in your first link, I think pg 44 or 45 where one of the guys from bioware stated that this stutter is thoroughly a single core processor issue.

I'm on Xp but as r3dshift stated others are also playing on xp, no problems.
I'll just wait for the patch, or it could be a driver issue with nvidia. For mass effect 1, it was a driver issue for me ... |

I have the exact same problem here (video loads-sun scene is fine, but just as soon as dialogue starts with miranda, it begins to stutter). I don't know if it is a drivers issue or something else.

Hmm, I've never actually heard of these differences (urgent care or emergency care). In both cases I was taken straight to emergency care (triage).
