Hold out for gold weapons/armour and engrave those and upgrade to your current level whenever possible. I only swapped armour and weapons for aesthetic reasons or when I had a set.

I'd say more like full 1080p Bluray vs a 1080p bluray reencode releases. In other words, pretty good to indistinguishable.
Just make sure you get the correct releases, not the rips that are using ... |
