that rule has been around for quite some time, e.g. BBS days when there were no pretime databases. afaik only mp3 scene nukes by pretime, but it only takes some nanosecs to spread a release anyway

without the SP the GBA would've been a huge desaster. The very first units were total shit, dark games like Castlevania pretty much unplayable. IMHO the SP really saved Nintendos ass.
