It needs it. New maps run like shit. Then there is the bug of invisible models (rotate quickly and you see the enemy rendering in front of you  )

i got past. crack is great. that issue happens on consoles sometimes as well. just restart and it will work

Do you use any anisotropic / antialiasing? I also have 4x aniso.
Everything maxed out includes AA 16X.
