I think the biggest flaw in this game, and at smaller level of first game too, is leveling/encounter system and how it leads to "gating" of content.

It's a good game, but not for everyone tastes. Not even in old school crowd.
Finished it twice. But haven't tried with with latest patches and new companion. Just too many other things to play. |

I think it is due to crew being shown as intentionally incompetent for comedic effect.
Good for big crisis, but incompetent as "time cops". |
