Same reason why games typically require broadband for online play, any decent online play anyway.
Think about it in a different way: if your games look horrible and can be played by 3 year old Gate ... |

| Well, in most cases, they put it on a DVD9 because it won't FIT on a DVD5. Would you rather them skimp out on content to fulfill your DVD-R burning needs? |
