If you replaced the Ubisoft launcher exe (C:\Program\Ubisoft\Launcher or something like that.) and patched the game EXE you can just enter anything and it'll treat it as valid.

| dunno exactly what the problem is, but check for a few things first. make sure your temp folder is on a partition with enough space (16gigs, etc). make sure the game actually uses that folder and does ... |
