Hitachi or samsung drive?
Hitachi is very very picky about both burner and media it seems, or the firmware just have bugs (1.0 and 1.1 for hitachi-lg that is) |

The problem does not come from your laptop config but from the 3d engine of the game. I have personnaly an Athlon 3800+ Venice with 2Gigs and one nice geforce 7800 gtx and the fps slowdowns to 20-25 ... |
