Ah, keytro still will crashes on ATI and some GeForce cards
For this work fix - create bat file in this directory with text "start keytro.exe"
Coz 16 bit graphic application can be started without problems by Bat file

Wow, this actually works. So why the fuck on some systems it starts fine? I have ATI card with latest drivers (10.7), so they're to blame?

Anyways good tip, better than needing to install Sandboxie.

But about the Razor release. So they highlight how unlike Reloaded's method, theirs doesn't alter any game files. Ok, that's nice but it alters something on my system to exploit the guest pass feature so what exactly gets modified in case I want to undo it?

Amazing the difference between playing the mission "Outbreak" on easy or normal vs brutal, 1337 enemy kills vs http://i26.tinypic.com/2z5jb74.jpg

Kinda sucks that the rewards don't adjust themselves based on difficulty, but I guess the upgrade system has been balanced nicely for the amount of rewards you get - else by the end of the game you'd have absolutely everything there could be to get..

Yeah there's some nice mission differences depending on difficulty level selected, though mostly focused on enemy unit size and what type of units are available and what you start with but it does make things a bit more varied than just lower damage to enemies whereas you take higher damage and gather slower while they gather faster and such.

Didn't kill thousands of enemies but this particular mission ended nicely when replayed on a higher difficulty, held out pretty well until that final wave which I'm pretty proud of but it wasn't really possible to handle that particular onslaught.

Take some at a time I'd guess, focus on one type and get that achievement, then the next and so on, when you have all of them the armory achievement will unlock. Smile
(Research is easier since there's more than enough points to get everything and then you get 10.000 for each extra point, focus on bonus objectives on such missions to get more research and extra credits.)

It was the easiest mission on brutal, took nearly no effort at all. 4 Bunkers at each entry point filled with standard marines, 1 scv per entry to repair in case anything gets close.

What? I had all unlocks so fucking early. Right after I met Zeratul and did all the missions from him in a row. It was so fucking fast and easy to get them that I was majorly diappointed by this feature. (I played on Hard)

I just played all missions (included the secret one) and did every bonus objective in each mission. When I wasn't able to do them all (get all pieces and stuff) I simply replayed the mission or loaded a savegame to obtain them. After you teched everything you'll get creds for each piece of research.

I think we're talking about the wrong thing here, wires crossed maybe, but I'm talking about the unit upgrades (two per unit). I sure as hell didn't have ALL of those by the end of the game! There just isn't enough cash in the game to do that :\

Yep, you're right. I fucked up Razz
But nonetheless, if there "would" be enough cash to buy them all, then I surely missed it. But I'm pretty sure I did everything that could be done in the campaign.

I will, but I want to know what the Razor crack actually changes. I'll probably clean everything in the registry that has to do with SC2 anyway.

There isnt actually ANYTHING different in the registry, from Reloaded / Digital Download / Razor releases.

The change from running the sc2copy.exe is in \ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net folder thats where the Licenses ( guest login ) is...

Someone said you win/lose about 50/50 due to how matchmaking (?) works. I am also planing on buying this game in future for multiplayer, so I hope I could at least stand a chance and not spoil the game for allies.

Yep. I think it's the best feature of the new battlenet and what's most important it works. I've been playing it from the beginning of beta(started in bronze, then silver, now I'm in gold league) and I've always had ~50/50 win/lose ratio. So even if you are a complete noob you will have lots of fun in multiplayer matches;)

there is a repair tool provided by blizzard ( repair.exe in the "support" subfolder in the sc2-directory) which did exactly what I wanted when I switched to my bought copy after playing the reloaded release first. didn't have to reinstall or anything

How ? Embarassed .... i know its in the offline file from C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net

the offline file is also the activation from razor....instead of using their keytro.exe you can just simply copy the offline file next time.
