Hi! Would someone please list the files+structure of the game? Not necessarily asking for a huge detailed list just the basics. A friend has the game included with a bunch of mods that need removing. He doesn't know which are the files and which are mods.

Is it everything under \game\00050000101C9500 ?? Under there I see 'code' 'content' and 'meta'. I also see stuff under '_Bonus Content' in the root folder.

Note: Yes I searched and could not find a thread here on this game. It's PC if we run it in CEMU...?

If he actually overwrote the gamedata in the games loadiine folder he's probably SoL and should just redownload it, mods are not separate files but modified gamefiles so the only way you can discern them from unmodified files is by crc.
It's totally not recommended do that since you can just install patches and mods in the games title folder in cemu\mlc01\usr\title\00050000 and cemu will load the mods from there leaving the game files intact (and avoiding a lot of bugs and other issues resulting from overwriting the gamedate).

I would myself just redownload, especially considering the existance of WII USB Helper.

if anyone is interested and not afraid of fiddling a bit, you can play this game on PC with mouse + keyboard without any issues. 8k with ray tracing - damn this game looks so gorgeous.

These are the detailed guides how to set up everything.

Game is a blast btw.

BOTW is so over hyped and it bored me to tears tbh. I definitely prefer the old Zelda formula over a meaningless and empty open world with copy pasted shrines and korok seeds everywhere.

metacritic would strongly dissagree with your evaluation Smile

And that doesn't matter in the slightest. You learn this as early as grade school, but subjective opinions are indeed subjective.

The world did feel a little empty at times, but other than that i think it's the best Zelda.
In its best moments it reminded me of playing Gothic for the first time.

I just hope they can improve upon the formula. There are fun things to explore and exploit in it due to physics mechanics and whatnot, they have something fun there that many games lacks, that could adress some of the boring aspects of open world games. They have also figured out how to make transportation fun. It's something lacking in all other fantasy open world games, there are ones in modern settings where its decent fun (like Just Cause). Also boss battles and are better than what you would normally get.

The shrines should have been a little more varied, but some of them are really cool.

I fully agree with you.

I enjoyed BOTW but it was a really shallow experience.
And as a Zelda game it sucked ass.
The absolute worst part for me was the way they padded out the game... Shrines while well made for the most part still felt repetitive.

As I played through it I just kept thinking "This is it?". Where's all the actual content I've come to expect from a Zelda game?
The answer is as we all know, it's almost no where because it's not really a Zelda game.

Hopefully the next one will be more Zelda-content filled.
I doubt it though since so many like BOTW.

Think they just hit slam dunk just for the open world fad that's going on, or at least was big at the time. I cannot fathom whats so interesting about these dead open areas. While you could feel some zelda charm here and there, in general it didn't feel like a zelda game to me.

Hehe, yeah, it does feel a bit ubi-soft'ish in some ways.. i did like always enjoy many of the characters and designs in BotW, way better there than anything from ubi obviously.. Exploration was cool imo, finding the various characters and seeing new landscapes. One of the first things i did was actually to explore 100% (almost) of the map, getting into those towers to reveal the full area.

Wind Waker was cool too. I don't know, this one did grab me a lot more than usual for a zelda game, but i'm not an immense fan of the series.
