Is there a properly working crack for BioShock yet?
Right now I'm not happy with having the rootkit on my system and I would love to get rid of it...
BioShock-LOLCATS works, everything is playable. However, this release uses some kind of loader, so the rootkit is still on the system.
BioShock-FLT and BioShock_Crackfix-FLTDOX. The release is not nuked, but the crackfix is. Does either of these cracks work?
Bioshock-Crack-ScenePwned. Not official scene stuff, hesitant to try it. Is this a proper crack or another loader?

That article is clueless, there is no Securom rootkit. Anyway, there is no fully cracked Bioshock executable (that works) , keep using the Lolcats release , it's all fine.

Whether or not it's a rootkit is debatable. IMO Securom shows all the characteristics of a rootkit, so I'm labeling it a rootkit.
If you disagree, that's alright. What you do with your PC is your business.
However, since you claim there is no fully cracked .exe yet I will indeed stay with the working Lolcats release.

If I remember correctly the scenepwned crack was just stolen from Darkcoder, and is the only working crack for Bioshock.

Works brilliant, finished the game with it, FLTs crack has many issiues afaik, use scenepwned crack

so to clarify for all the readers (and myself):
working cracks are found in Bioshock-LOLCATS, Bioshock.Crack-scenepwned, and Bioshock-iND.
Cracks to avoid are Bioshock-FLT and Bioshock.Crackfix-FLT
And, the iND release uses a stolen crack, presumably from Darkcoder, who created the Bioshock.Crack-scenepwned crack?

All FLT crack have issues, all other cracks are working, but all of those other cracks are stolen from Darkcoder.

Okay... so FLT's cracks are bad.
Lolcats 'crack' is a loader, but other than that works fine.
Scenepwned is a real crack, not a loader? Great... going to try it tonight.

So scenepwned Bioshock.exe CRC is DBBC998E and paul.dll is 6A31279A ? And there is no fully cracked release that removes securom and works 100% then? Because scenepwned release still contains Securom and it doesnt like my UltraIso virtual drive. I downloaded Lolcats release and removed the language files so now its only 4GB and I am thinking of burning it on DVD5 so I need a working and less annoying crack.

did you use the dvd5 conversion found on fileforums to get it down to 4 gb, or what?
What I think will eventually happen is the game will be patched to remove the online activation part of the protection, and then we will see a scene release. But this will be in many, many months.
