A shitty case holds heat, a proper case will take in cold air and blow out the hot air. Your computer should run cooler with a case than without, if not then its overrated and just a shitty case Wink

My computers has looked like that a number of times throughout the years.. you're not a proper nerd if you've never had your computer running in pieces Very Happy

Nah, only the first couple ones.
Especially the very first one you assemble from a pile of leftovers your dad brought home from work, all by yourself without knowing much about it and before the internet took over, good times Very Happy

Fun times indeed Very Happy I actually overclocked one of my first PC computers (a 486 dx-33) completely by mistake. I was so happy, i was sure i had gotten a dx-66 CPU by mistake from the shop or that the labeling was wrong (never heard of overclocking). 33MHz extra for no cost, woah! Laughing

Got rid of my eyefinity setup for a single 34" monitor(I do miss the setup though) and I had to get a second monitor just for the browser, couldn't live with just one monitor. Very Happy

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

I can't never understand the point of double displays near each other... (Extened display).

Yes,I have "double displays" my own,but it's PC+TV LED,the led is for watching movies or go "console mode" while the PC's display is turned off.

What's to understand? More space. One display with e.g 3D Studio, another display with a tutorial video showing you how to do something in 3DS. I can probably give hundreds of examples.

I wouldnt mind an extra display, but the 34" is so wide already, it would mess up the desk too much (got huge ass speakers on my desks)

I like alt-tabbing a lot so both displays have their own individual desktops. For example when I put a game on and set the game in borderless window mode(if possible), I can just move the cursor to the other monitor and browse my favorite site. Wink

this. really my job is much easier with multiple displays, especially since I run a lot of stuff on a different server with remote desktop.

my work is really cheap though (govt) so I just use my monitor plus my laptop screen, I'd love for them to get me another actual full size monitor Sad

*sad trombone* Very Happy it is!
http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1623964#1623964

The desk is a complete mess at the moment, but even if four years have passed, everything is practically still the same. The ugly, black Centurion was replaced by an equally ugly, black Haf 912, and that's it. Same monitor, mouse, keyboard, everything xD

It's melancholic (Sad Laughing), but I'm saving money for the new car so it's inevitable..at least the components that matter for gaming have been upgraded!*
