angry joe crew are idiots.
Joe claims that pure cringe is the sole problem with the show/episode but not DEI.
DEI is the biggest crisis and problem the movie industry has faced till now.
Even if not implemented in huge doses into the series/movies the issue is that people dont get hired because they are talented but because they are a poc or lgbtq or an activist etc.
They ve got shit for brains and usually think that they can do everything better than the people who created the ip in the first place and got it famous.
"but george lucas made it worse.."
I'm sure that people like george lucas/ppl of that time would just take criticism to heart and maybe change something.
Nowaday criticism means that you are a bigot, racist, far right (even though the internet space is multicultural and most of these things dont even apply to the people who critisize).
Instead of changing and bettering things they double down and send hate towards the og fans.
Yeah, that's the actual real problem today. DEI is the baked in excuse. Have all these "diverse people", as if skin color actually makes you diverse, and then use them as a shield to deflect any and all criticism.
Helps nobody but the people in charge. The audience gets a shit product and you create a bunch of tension between groups. Basically have the peasants fight each other while you laugh all the way to the bank.
And all these dei recruits probably know it, but they prostitute themselves, since they paycheck is too big. And hey, I'm sure there's a bunch of people at all levels that actually drank the cool-aid and think they're "making a difference", but they're likely in the minority.
Here's to another 10 more years of "Star Wars is finally DEAD!" from Nerdrotic and Critical Drinker men!
Maybe they can up that info to every other week at least, because it's good to be informed i think
and yes.. i did use to follow Nerdrotic. He isn't wrong, but yeah, there's a limit for this type of garbage content, both from Disney and from the haters who says its dead and they can't stop talking about it like its the most relevant thing ever.
Glad to know that everything previous to 2024 and Acolyte in the realm of Star Wars was great

The 5-th one is the best so far, just mindless duels.
I just realized why I like this show more than most of the local tv shows/cinema consumers: I never was a big Star Wars fan. It has always been too childish for me. So when Acolyte destroys the lore I really don't care as long as it keeps me entertained.
The intro (first 25min) is really good. They discuss how different generations were inspired to write science fiction. Gene Roddenberry, the great generation, who participated in WW2, went with utopia in Star Trek. Boomers were influenced by the Cold War in Star Wars, The Thing, Alien, et al. Later, the brink of nuclear war influenced sci-fi into post-apocalypse. Then we reach the Ztard imbecile generation. What are they inspired by? What is the greatest battle of their time? Identity politics.
That a second season is planned basically confirms they're doing this just out of spite, they want it to absolutely tank, this to be able to blame its failure on racism, to dunk on men etc.
So fucking ridiculous, but we live in ridiculous times.
they just say they are working on it to make it look like it has some kind of success and to deflect the bad reviews but it will never see the light of day.
remember wonder woman 3? pattys star wars? rian johnson new sw trilogy? dumb and dumber star wars? muschietti new batman? etc etc
all were announced right before to create hype or right after to deflect reviews
