That sucks man. Just being on the phone with tech support puts me in a bad mood. If I ever have to talk to a supervisor I am mega pissed. So now you are only going to deal with these already frustrated people. I'm sure the extra money from the promotion makes it worth it though.
BTW what do you know about verizon's FIOS? If it's available for me would it be worth it?

Yup - today was the worst working day of my life.
You said a mouthful and it's all true - i'm locked in though and I can't go back to plain old tech support for 6 months!!!! Needless to say I added the experience to my resume and will start looking elsewhere for employment - no way i'm giving 2 weeks notice
FIOS is the fiber and I think there are packages ranging from 5MB - 7MB down. Honestly though - if you get FIOS and wanna remove it your in for a world of hurt. Verizon will probabley cut your POTS line when you get FIOS so if you try and switch to another phone carrier you will need to pay them to run another line from the pole to your NID (to replace one they snipped).
Unless I was getting the $14.95 package I would never use DSL - I love Canada and I shit on Verizon.
Anyways it's your call - it's the future of internet for sure but I don't know a ton about it cause they are a seperate dept. from me - i'm just plain DSL. |
Thanks for the info man. I'll research it some more before I jumo to any decisions. sorry to hear that the supervisor position is so tough. good luck.
