In the middle of the night, I by accident knocked over a bottle of water.. 0.5 liter.. half of it went over the laptop and stayed there for god knows how long...
Since it happened while I was sleeping, I have no idea how long it's been in there.. Already dried it for some time (it happened almost a week ago) but still my keyboard is giving issues...
At random some keys work and sometimes they don't.. Just the keyboard is semi-broken and hope I can fix/replace it..
I'm damn lucky it didn't shortcut and catch fire.. the thing was like 20cm away from my sleeping head...

Well I fully opened the thing up but somehow cannot access the keyboard without removing all electronica..
But didn't had time to do that yet.. Though I doubt what's causing this is still due to water in there.. it soaked in there for quite some time.. Odd thing is that keys at random work or don't work and have no idea where to check what's causing that or how I can fix that

a laptop where you cant remove the keyboard easily? normalliy just 2-3 screws at the bottom side marked with keyboard symbols and then you need to click the keyboard out of the case (4-6 plastic nipples which hold it) and you can remove it with the small cable
@nui: naa, rice doesnt repair it. its the asian which are attract by the rice and they repair it over now
It's a sticky at the top of the hardware section per my request a few years ago

She brought home some white monitor from work and she was telling me earlier today to find out if the white monitor works or not. If she asks, tommorow morning, why there are lines on the laptop screen, Il tell her maybe that new monitor she brought home has a virus on it. So i itl totally be her fault for bringing that crap monitor home..
