After now playing both the 360 and the PC version, there is no doubt that the PC version is incomparably better!!
1. Mods......enough said, what mods are there to be for the 360?! None?
2. Graphics.....boy am I glad I could still afford my Geforce 285, PC graphics are stunning, 360 graphics are absolute crap especially after finishing playing Lost Odyssey which looks beautiful on the 360. They're so watered down on the 360 that it hurts. The faces still look good but no AA and the armor graphics are plain crap, you can't make out the sword's blade from the armor.
3. PC's interface is wonderfully done and rivals MMORPGS (except the xml customizable ones).
However the 360 is still very absorbing and easy to control, awesome if your friends don't have a powerful pc to run the game (most don't) and bloody!! Heads flying, limbs, blood spurting all over the place.
All in all it's a great game and for the type of game it is, it's hard to do a better job on the hardware of the 360 unless you make the environments pre-rendered (like most Jap RPGS do).
10/10 for PC
7/10 X360

Just got my collector's edition. BioWare has done it again and it's the most serious Baldur's Gate type RPG to hit the streets. However, WHERE THE F IS THE MULTIPLAYER?!? It would be SO awesome to play this game with actual people. I think that's a huge minus to this game. However the story makes up for it. I just wish there would be SOME MP support, common this is the end of 2009 and still companies think they can get away with no MP support in games....lame.
Other then that, don't get this for the 360 if you can play it on the PC, it's like night and day. Also mods are going to be a HUGE part of this game, you can't do any of that on the 360. The builder's kit is also amazing if you want to carve your own story.

Was thinking exactly the same... wouldn't have been so hard to implement MP either. Kind annoying you get the feeling its made for coop with the options to choose different characters in your party.
btw can't believe iv spent 7 hours on this game, feels like 3 maybe 4 tops.
A little stuck in Haven village now tho
Spoiler: | where am I supposed to go when iv fought all the bad guys there, been to the cemetery or wtf it was. Quest says im supposed to end this. No mark on the map either. |

I haven't had time to really delve into this game yet but I am quite surprised that the graphics are so... terrible. I just don't understand it, I can buy that it can't be AS good as the PC-version but it has to be able to get closer than this? There are tons of games that look so much better than this on the 360 so I don't really get it, it looks worse than Neverwinter Nights 2 and I'm not even sure if I'm joking or not.
Also who the fuck decided that you can't toggle the radialmenu? I mean it was annoying in Mass Effect where you only had one menu to worry about but here you have fucking submenus and while browsing them you have to keep the LT down, just insanely stupid. At least allow for the option to toggle or not toggle.
Ugh.
Other than that it seems fine, I'm guessing you guys are right about it being a 8/10 on the 360. Still I've gotten too lazy to play games on the PC

I'll have to correct myself, there is an option to toggle the radial.

I like this game very much thank you. No doubt it will be even better on pc, but it is still a very solid gaming experience.
Gfx are nice, story is good, gameplay is sweet.
Best rpg I´ve played in ages.

Please don't misunderstand, the PS3/360 versions are very good considering the limitations set on them by the consoles concerned.

Yep.
I love the small details that shows this is a quality product.
For example, when people in helmets covering their faces speak, it gets that kind of muffled voice.

Fuck my pc has been in pieces for 6 months as CBA spending time trying to fix the RAID issue I was having. Is it really that much better on PC? Is it purely gfx are better or is the whole game smoother and easier to control on PC? Might have to finally fix the PC if its that much of a difference.

Heh, TB feels sorry for the Polish guys, if you check any release page you'll see posts like:
"Is the .pl release out?"
or: "Does the release contain polish language?"
TB shares your pain and says: "Don't forget Poles gave the UK the enigma machine!"

I'm planning to play DAO on my flashed Xbox, so I can't go online to update it (well, I can, but i don't wanna risk it). Are there any major or gamestopping bugs in version 1.0? I don't care for graphics or frame rate inconsistency, I'm only interested in possible bugs.

Nevermind, I found the offline title updates package and the instructions how to install them on an external USB stick.

Im resurrecting an old topic now.
Do the keys in Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition have an expiry date. I am planning on purchasing a boxed copy for my Xbox 360 for only 20€. Pretty cheap i must say. Pretty cheap only when the keys still actually work. Don't want to go blindly in so thats why im asking this before actual purchase.
