I burned it and using neogamma r7, but didn't loaded all i got was a green screen Sad
so usb loader is the only way to go?

i'm using neogamma r7 (beta 8 i think) and burned it, works fine, didn't even set any options in neogamma. you've either got a bad burn or you're missing some IOS stuff

yes, you need the whole (c)IOS stuff and neogamma...read through the new super mario bros thread here in the console area, since the protection for galaxy2 and NSMB is essentially the same

Yea, the "instructions" on how to get shit going on the WII are godawful. INstalling homebrew channel isn't a problem - its going through te steps to install the right IOS's (or whatever they are called) that is a bitch.

I'll see if I can hunt down the link I used.

It absolutely CANNOT get any easier than this:

If you can't follow this guide you're better off just buying the game. ;p

I slept some hours... will go for it now. but one question remains:
Even without the softmod - shouldn`t my hardmodded wii at least recognize the disc?!

I don't think so, no. Even if your DVD drive is failing, once soft modded you can play games off the USB hard disk!

What I don't get is why you guys can even still SEE the disk channel. I RARELY ever go to the Wii System Menu - Wiiloader + a good USB loader forwarder means less clicking between turn on and play.

Anyway, my sister went into labour last night and thus i've not been able to play this since yesterday afteroon Sad I MISS IT!!

yes, it`s a pal console... Well - I haven`t used the wii for years now. Back then every game worked out of the box. All that homebrew stuff wasn`t available. So I was a bit lost; and tired Wink

Ahh. Can you not run that shit from inside a USB loader then? TBH I've never found a WiiWare / VC title that's made me want to download it!!

You can load homebrew off SD from the HBC or from USB Loader .. but actual NAND-installed (emulated or otherwise) WiiWare/VC? No. As far as I'm aware, you still need to access the SD Channel, or use the standard System Menu, for those.

Uloader supports emulated WiiWare/VC titles. (You install them on an emulated NAND on your SD card).
Not really sure if it's that what you mean.
