the correct way to play hitman games, atleast for me, is start on normal play and play each level like 10 times, experimenting with different ways and the most efficient ways to get your target, and kill him. after u have the map layout memorized, along with guard layout ( which changes a little bit with the harder difficultys so its still fun) u up it to hard difficulty (or pacifist in this case).
im currently on normal and iv only gotten to the 5th level because i spend so much time on each level experimenting, im pretty sure i would do pretty awesome at pacifist at this point
It's funny you should say that - I already have an Xbox 360, but it's non-HDMI and I hacked it about 4 years ago and do not have the drive key! I am not sure I can reflash with a modern firmware without the drive key...

The game is amazing, really...
First : graphics are top notch, and this is running the PS3 version, it does look a little bit aliased but at least the picture isnt blurry like CoD games on PS3 (and most PS3 games). The rain looks really nice.
Gameplay is great : stealth all the way, close quarter combat is really nice, which relies on on smart integrated QTE : if you have played the Bourne game on 360/PS3, it feels the same, and it's really great. Now, people will complain the game has mark & execute, but nobody forces you to use it, and you can barely use it, even in easy modes, because your Instinct drops quickly before you have the time to even use it properly...
Sound : voice acting is great, at least in french, the music is amazing, it really brings to the atmosphere, and changes depending of the situation to make you stress even more. Specially when you are close to get caught.
Story : so far, the story is pretty basic but good enough for me to follow through the end.
Overall, the game reminds me a lot of the Bourne movies, and the Bourne game, but is a lot more stealthy. You can finish levels killing every body, but it's hard & risky. Going for the stealth way is much more entertaining and stressful.
Finally, considering how bad were the Kane & Lynch serie, I'm surprised this game is top notch.
For now, it's definitely 8.5/10, there is hardly anything to complain about, the game shits all over Splinter Cell Conviction (for sure it got inspired a little, see Mark & Execute), and the atmosphere is just... AMAZING. I don't know how to express it myself, but the atmosphere feels like old games I was enjoying on my PC in the 90's... For example a game like Omikron Nomad Soul has this special atmosphere. This game has it too (don't get me wrong, I can't compare it to Omikron, they are complete different games, I'm just talking about the overall atmosphere).

i concur with cyclonefr, while the game has obviously been updated to popular mechanics, the atmosphere and gameplay itself do have alot of the oldschool pc vibe.

If you already have a hacked firmware on the drive, you can obtain the drive key using any number of available programs. Personally, I prefer Jungleflasher. If you don't have a hacked firmware on there, you will still probably be able to get the firmware, but I cannot remember which drives need additional hardware/modifications to read the firmware. Also, I'd RGH that bastard if I were you, it's getting harder and harder to find the parts (at least here in the states it is).

, they clearly made fun of the game...played it in a TPS way , did some funny stuff I never tried to do..that ofc sucks. Game is not perfect but you'll have similiar outcome when you try to play previous Hitman games that way , even their marketing suggests to play it the way you like..but only stealth part of the game delivers , every Hitman game should be played that way.
