sweet
the kit looks very nice
but on the pic above there is a thin red line
imo
if you could, use black and put a thin red line in the middle of the side skirts and front/rear bumpers
white, black and red
you could also think about the spoiler around the 3-rd stop to make it black/red too
and color the chrome/white? on the rims red too
what about the quad exhausts?

Yikes, all that money for superficial crap.
I'd always choose performance over fakery. Should have gone with a better car or performance upgrades on the current one... hell even a few track days are more worth it.
Then again... I've always been more into racing (the proper kind... not the douchebags on public roads who can't even take a simple turn or shift properly But hey they can spin their tires and make their car yell... guess that's something!).
Ah well, different strokes for different folks.

I don't think he can do any performance upgrades without voiding the warrant, while it's in place..
except small stuff
like performance air filter
high performance spark plugs + cables + coils
using high octane fuel
performance exhaust generation
sport suspension/bushings
if he touches the ECU mappings or opens the engine = void

Well, I have 211 horsepower and I can drive up to 247 km/h (already tried). The car is locked at 250 km/h. I'd have to pay 2500 € to participate in the AMG Driving Academy to unlock more speed. But I don't need that. 211 hp is more than enough and the acceleration speed is great too.
like StrEagle said, doing performance stuff like race chips fucks up the warranty.

that's an amazing offer
does it work per car, or once you get it all future cars are unlocked?
it sounds like a nice skill investment
I think about going to a safety driving academy myself

No idea if it works on all future cars as well. Would be better of course...cuz paying 2500 € all the time is kinda dumb.

Great package, but couldn't you tick the "xenon" option?

he didn't tick a couple of options I suggested him at the time
leave him be, it was probably a financial decision, now he's paying extra for it

I can't get over the navigation display - it looks like a last-minute fix from MB. "oh, we forgot about the navigation, here, have an ipad and call the day"

All the factory in-car systems are fucking horrible, because they are all Chinese WinCE pieces of shit or half-assed, half-compatible buggy pieces of shit (I'm looking at you, Ford and any Alpine manufactured crap). And that wouldn't be a big deal if it was only on the cheaper brands, but a fucking Mercedes shouldn't come with the crap that they do come with. And what's worse is that there are bloody amazing systems out there already; Parrot have a complete system ready to be used by OEMs. Or even Pioneer's aftermarket systems.
There's a few brands who are finally realising that now though, if they pull through on the ones I've seen a couple of weeks ago I might finally be okay-ish with getting a factory system. Still a huge premium though. Hyundai and VW are both going all out on Android Auto + CarPlay in one system. VW's in particular looked very clean, albeit a little buggy still.
And please don't get that horrible kit Kuro
Bumper is not *too* bad, but that spoiler is terrible. You'll make a joke out of what is one of the few good looking (IMOIMOIMO) Mercs.

but at the same time VW are starting to remove the emergency brake and the manual transmission, with no option for them back..

Haha Vaifan .
Ye, that is true Werelds. The Daimler AG is a greedy company. It really sucks that you have to pay shit load of money to get stuff that even my old VW Golf 5 had.
@StrEagle: My car was used by Mercedes, it only had like 4000 km / 2500 miles, but no xenon. Plus I am getting some % off when buying a car from them. That's why I chose to take the already existing car instead of configuring a new one.
Haha, The_Zeel . I don't know, but a Mercedes isn't something special here in Sindelfingen / Stuttgart. For example everyone here in my street owns a Benz, a couple Porsches (HQ & Factory is also in Stuttgart), but mostly Benz's. Most of the people who live here work at or for Mercedes. Cars like a LADA or Uh'murican cars are a bit rare.
The price for my car was still cheaper than an Audi A5 S-line with little stuff in it.
As for the money, I don't really want to talk about that.
anyway,
So you guys say that the spoiler in the back would look bad? Hmm, you might be right, but I'll get the spoiler flaps for the front.
280 €

The C class looks very nice yeah, and will most likely be cheaper than an A5 as well.
If I'd ever get a Mercedes though, it will be a CLS. Love that design, but the price is unreasonable.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

You can't reason prices on Premium brands - those cars aren't necessities.

As a complete noobcake, I really like how the car looks now Kuro. Sports-y but still clean and classy. Just my personal opinion, I'd avoid all the excessive pimp mah ride aesthetics, or at least limit them to a bare minimum.
Then again, I still have a Yaris from 1999 so who am I to give advices about this sort of stuff xD
The best advice is, do what you like/feel like doing
