No one gives a fuck about PS5 Pro. It's completely unneeded. Unlike PS4 Pro which had proper reasons like 4K and PSVR. Also, you can only buy a PS5 for a normal price since one and a half years... They should properly make use of the normal PS5!
Day 1 for me (assuming there's stock) and I don't give a fuck what the price is. I want the best PS5 for the next 4 years until PS6. Everyone else can keep what will until then be the inferior base model if they want.

The hell are you talking about? PS5 is absolute slideshow in new games. Whether or not PRO will fix that is up in the air, but PS5 original is crap these days
Agreed. Sadly I'm not a fan of upgrading every now and then, else I should just get a PC, but just like it was with PS4, a new model is a no brainer for me, PS5 is becoming crappier than ever and it shows.
Here is what's gonna happen. They'll announce PS5 Pro running all the current PS5 games 60 or 120 fps max graphics. Then they'll start releasing new games and PS5 pro ends up in the PS5 current situation with choppy framrate or shit graphics and smooth framerate. I feel this cycle will never end.
of course. And soon most PS5 games will only have a performance mode on PS5 Pro games only.

Although I wonder what 3rd party dev will do to try to accustom to Xbox Series X users? Games can't be that different on PS5 Pro and XBox Series X (unless Microsoft also has a Xbox Series X Pro releasing soon)... would be interesting

Very underwhelmed. It's too reliant on developers to update their games to make the most of the new hardware. We're still waiting for seminal PS4 era games to be upgraded for the base PS5. £700 ffs for a handful of games I've already completed
I was gonna shell out $599 for this... but $700 and no disk drive? that is a skip fam. I use the current PS5 to play bluray movies that I have a collection of.
It's overpriced indeed, but it seems a lot more powerful than PS5. I wonder if games will really use the power, similarly to PC settings.
Hell, even FF7 Rebirth is a blurry mess on PS5.... they already announced a PS5 Pro update. Is it worth the extra money ?
I'm curious if headshot will buy it? I guess not, since according to him, Wukong is beautiful on PS5 in subpar 720p@40-60fps and 30fps is fine for <insert game name> running in 1396p

The best thing with the PS5 is the controller, it's the best controller ever made imo, the games, the system itself, pretty garbage. Mine broke very early on, often doesn't eject the disc so i have to open it up.
I always buy disc version of games so i can sell them. So yeah, i can understand why they don't want people to do that...
