Its not the releases, its the game itself. Same thing happened with Eternal Sonata NTSC. Needed a Live update to go pass the company screen logo |
Oh, so I should go ahead and download the game again? I am reading on xbox360iso.com, other people are having no issues with the game

After some testings made by poeple. Seems that hitachi drive works fine with the disc. All others gets black screen and work only after installing it on the HDD.

How can I tell if I have a Hitachi drive in my XBOX? I think I will just wait for a good working version. One will probably come out tomorrow instead of this one that works for some people and doesn't work for others

Oh Ok I see. I am new to this whole downloading games things. Just got my XBOX modded a few months ago. So it won't matter if another Rock Band is released, it will still have the same problems since it's the game itself that is the issue..So what needs to be done to fix it..an update when the game is released officially that needs to be downloaded? I wouldn't play the game til the release date anyway since I never take any chances with getting banned

Most games that I have downloaded need updates in order to work..I never understood why people burn games before their release dates, you have a high risk of being banned. I'd never do that, but I guess what they do is their business

There's 2 release out for this game. One by RAMBO and one by GLoBaL. Both are different rips and both act the same way. So im pretty confident the problem is from the game and not from the rips.

I remembered what I don't like about RB. Medium is waaaaaay too easy and hard is too hard (can't get the hang of the orange button). Also, seems like I need to have a seizure to make the 2x mode kick in ... pretty much guarantees I miss a note so it's completely pointless.

strange thing is that iv got two identical wireless guitars (legend of rock) one of them almost automatically unleashes star power, but the other one is more of a struggle :/

How do I know if I have a Hitachi drive..also, why is it that it only works on those drives..so the update won't fix the issue at all?

Eternal Sonata NTSC had the exact same problem where some work, some froze after the first logo. Update was made then the work for everyone. So just be patient cause our voice dont count for them cause we're filty pirates. So trust me when poeple who bought the game will start complaining, they will move their asses. Althought they are already aware of the problem since everyones is talking about this.

I couldn't do ACDC Thunderstruck on hard but I kept practicing and now I can do it. It makes it all completely worth it. The hardest thing for me is the successive notes like in Bob Dylan Tangled up in Blue and Fleetwood Mac...cannot remember the name of the song. I will never play expert because that is insane. There are still songs on hard that I cannot do that I have to practice. I am stuck on a Megadeth song right now in single player. I kept losing fans so I stopped and just went to the song in practice mode. Rock Band 2 is so much better than GHWT or 5 IMHO. But I have to say I hate the changes to Rock Band that have come with The Beatles release. The graphics for hitting notes looks different and I don't like it. It's to cartoony. I am praying that Rock Band 3 doesn't adopt the changes and that it's just a Beatles psychedelic type thing.
