I see hundredpushups being mentioned, but no one mentioned this youtube channel yet, which I actually prefer to that site, since a couple of more exercises are included:
http://www.youtube.com/user/passion4profession/videos

It has a shitload of workout videos even workout routines sorted out by levels of intensity and area (chest, abs etc.), like this one for example (I'm sure you can find a no music version as well Very Happy)

I'm currently doing P90x (actually struggling with it, since it takes way too much time and is pretty intense) and wondering does anyone have any tips on how to finish it, apart from Tony Horton's "Bring it!" and "Keep pushing play!" (God, I hate his catchphrases by now)? It's my 3rd time doing this and it's very likely I'm gonna give up yet again.

@BloodySpy get yourself two kettlebells and you're good to go Smile I love doing kettlebels squats, that way I work my glutes, quads, hamstrings, and back (you need to watch your form, no bending etc.). And pull ups and chin ups are also an overall great workouts (since there are lots of muscles working at the same time).

I squat with my 2 x 20 kg dumbbells; a little more awkward to hold than kettlebells, but i got used to them. Since i do all the training at my small 2-room apartment, and i have a wife and 2 kids, i really don't have space for a pair of heavy kettlebells. The chin-up tower i acquired really filled whatever free space i had, plus i also bought a large recurve bow last month. So my sport interests really start to piss off the other family members Smile

I wanted to also buy a blunt steel 2-handed sword, for cardio training; i totaly hate regular cardio (running bores me to death), but since i love swordfighting i thought it would be a good idea. The looks i got when i announced my idea made me cower and hide in shame. Smile

Well, 10KG is not that bad in 2 monhts. For me it's more like 4,5KG in 2 months, but the last month I'm only going to the gym to gain muscle, not lose fat.

losing more than 1 kg per week is dangerous. You might end up loosing more muscle than fat.

Surely a protein strict diet might add to the muscle tissue? I've been on strict Paleo diet for a month now, with regular interval running minimum 2 times a week, and other than a deficiency on carbohydrates on the first two weeks which made my quite drowsy around noon, I haven't felt anything quite the contrary: I have alot more energy, alot more concentration and 10 kg lighter ^^

So? How is the training coming along sausje?

I've been going to the gym 2-3 times per week for almost a year now, with pretty mediocre results. (But results none the less, considering I started with <15 Push-ups and never did any serious sports in my life) I can now push 65Kg 5 times at the bench and lift 16Kg curls 10 times. its something... and my gf likes the little changes.

But lets say I've really started training with a real plan just three months ago. And started legs really late because of my broken leg. (I still carry the metal nail inside my lower leg, doctor said to pay attention to it). Also I'm drinking too much alc on weekends which is shit for regeneration and I'm certainly not eating too well. (I do eat my fair share of proteins though)

I gained 7Kg (certainly with some fat) in a year. (No, I'm not posting pics of myself)

Ah well its still fun and at 32 I'm not in my springtime of youth anymore so I'll just continue. Very Happy

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Anyone know where the fuck I can get a weighted vest above 30kg in the EU? I was using a backpack until now, filled with 26kg of gravel/water bottles but it finally disintegrated now. I already got up to 15 reps dips and 7 reps chin-ups with it, past the 5 rep max so I want something with more than 30kg for progressive overload in the future, preferrably a weight adjustable vest with up to 40-50kg. Also, using a backpack at those weights becomes annoying and interferes with keeping form, a vest seems much more convenient.
But there do not seem to be any available in EU, they all cap out at 30kg. There are some that can take 50kg but you have to buy fitting weights and fill them yourself, which sucks. On amazon US they go over 140lbs (!!) but importing is too heavy and expensive, if they even deliver at all. There must be some outlet in the EU that gets them from the US and sells them but I couldn't find any.
