The old mercedes logo in there looks ugly, but the mercedes logo sticking out looks also silly.

Nay. Not my taste at all.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

I like them, but they're too much sticking out..
it needs to be smoother, more stealthily adding to the black, not trying to steal the show and shout "look at me"
and OH MY GOD those chrome mirror panels

Nope, I am not that rich. I am happy to own a decent Mercedes with 211 hp. I just need to get the revozsport bodykit and wrap the car...that's aaaallll I need to be fully satisfied with it :>

btw. there is this girl I met recently. She drives an A 45. It's the "real" AMG version of my car. It has 360 hp.
She is soooooooo arrogant and she is bragging all the time about her sexy white beast (the car).
The FUNNY thing is ... she doesn't even OWN the car. It's fucking leased. Boasting with a leased car.....girl, people like you make me sick.
And it's not even leased on her name, it's on her boyfriend's name.

True Pax. My elder brother leases his benz too. every year a new one, but he is driving the family cars ( B Class ) because he has 2 kids and they need a lot of space for their road trips and stuff :X.
I'm really curious how long the engine of the new "45" cars can take. I don't think that they last long.

Talking about the A45 AMG, i'm suspicious about the huge amount of power drawn from a 2L and it's overpriced.
Like paxsali said, you get better options with non-premium hothatches.
About the leased cars, here, people do it all the time, heck, i even encourage my customers to lease instead of immobilizing 100% of a sum.

I have a relative with Polo GTI 1.4 180hp, going strong 3-rd year now, no engine issues. Except that it drinks 1l oil every 5000km, but according to the manual, up to 1l/2000km is normal
and it broke the ignition plugs at 45k, when they're serviceable at 60k
It's easy to lease when you have 0% interest, try to lease with 5%+ like in here

wtf, 1L of oil every 5000km is normal? Maybe for a car with 200k+km?

it's around 50k now
it was doing it from the factory
welcome to the world of powered downsizing
he's thankful he didn't get the regular chain that all normal 1.4TSI got, that was defective and could snap leading to total engine destruction at any time
I've read some forums, some GTI's would go 1l/1000km and get their engine replaced for free
apparently it drops by 50%, if you shift manually the DSG and keep the engine >2000rpm

well usually they say those things in the manual just to be safe, but in reality (At least in my experience) its quite rare for a car to burn so much oil, unless the engine has very high mileage/km or some abnormal problem. I guess that even affects pollution levels?
I probably wouldn't worry though, as long as there are no other signs of problems...

Are the majority of these pricey cars lease cars in Germany, like in NL?

Well that is a company lease so... yeah
I'm about to order a company car too next week. Probably this baby:
BMW 420D Automatic Gran Coupe Advantage (190PS)
But in Esoteril Blue, which is actually only available in the M package, but for company cars there seems to be an exception (yeah).
