I finally got to watch Top Gun: Maverick from my movies backlog. Tom Cruise plays a reluctant hero once again. It's a solid patriotic USA! USA! movie that, indeed, is too similar to Star Wars.
I loved it notwithstanding its list of shortcomings that were so funnily compiled by Ryan George.
