I got it work eventually after a few "open tray, close tray repeat" it worked fine then but i cant install it to HDD as it gives a dirty disc error

Well, who ever came up with the theory that it only works on hitachi drives is wrong. Working absolutely fine here on sammy ms-28 and have not installed to HDD using a verb burnt at 4 x.

I'm wondering whether it's to do with the output setting. I'm using a VGA cable but I could try using componant cables to see if that is the reason for it not working for most of you.

Well for some reason it let me install it to HDD last night and it worked flawesly , even completed the story mode ( gotta love it when the wife is out Smile ) fantastic game loads of replay value , drums next for me Smile

Well I tried it with the component cables and it worked with them aswell so I don't know why it happens.

Anyone heard something about a patch for the black screen???

The game is out in store and cant seem to find poeple complaining about that exept Pirates.

ok so just got the game (The Beatles) and well ... you can't play it with a pad Sad fuck so don't have any experience with this type of games so :
1. will any guitar controller work ? like from a cheap copy of guitar hero
2. do you need specific guitar controller to play other guitars like bass ?
3. i get you still need to buy a mic - the one on the pad doesn't work (don't care about the drum set)

???

o and the black screen , yeah i have it , its a problem with the intro thats on the second layer of the disk , you can pass it if you skip the devs logos if your on disk or play it ok if you install it on the hdd

AGAIN

this game (The Beatles) doesn't work with the microphone thats plugged into the pad , it doesn't even find it ... when other games see it like Endwar

or maybe it works if you have a guitar controller plugged maybe then it will find it (or its only compatible with the USB Mic that on sale now)

are really all here stoned Laughing or i should really write like i would explain this to a 3 year old

Wait, so are you telling us that guitar controller wont work, but only mic to it? But pad works like guitar? How many pads can be connected at one time and can you have guitar with microphone on some of those?

lol stop being a cheap bastard. Its really worth it... I played all the games that worked with the controller, but gave in when I had to and got a wireless guitar. absolutely worth it

Any USB mic will work with Beatles Rock Band but if you actually bought the game and read the instruction book you would know that they disabled the controller mic on the 360 but you can still use it to talk to friends over Xbox Live during a session.

and thanks for the tip Deelix but i made a GETTO Cool Face plug for my PC mic to USB now thats so fine reverse engineering mofo getto style
