3DS
Top Screen:
3.53-inch widescreen LCD display, enabling 3D view without the need for special glasses; with 800x240 pixel resolution (400 pixels are allocated for each eye to enable 3D viewing).
Touch Screen:
3.02-inch LCD with 320x240 pixel resolution with a touch screen.
I was hoping the top screen would be at least 640x480. The screen is only 400x240.
It's an upgrade from 192x256 which make it good for emulations and on par with PSP.
If you hate it, ignore it.

is it me or was there great deal of delay on the move? like a whole second or so. None of that happened with the wii and the delay on kinect was noticeable but minute... did they just switch the whole real time talk to just 1:1 precision?

Lol, you can't use the throttle and the break with Kinect due to lack of buttons. What a fail.

While motion control does suck IMO (Wii, Move and Kinetic) this is a special case. Turn10 try to force motion control into a game that isn't suited for it. Motion control does suck, not because it doesn't work for racing games, but because it doesn't allow you to relax while playing. You always need to wave your arms around like an idiot.

Nintendo did it first and they did it good, and now what? Kinect? Move? lol... its sad imo

Yeah kinect looks garbage. Holding your hands out in thin air pretending to hold a steering wheel is already retarded enough as it is and now on top of that in this particular game it actually brakes, accelerates and turns for you? What a load of nonsense.

I personally think even the IDEA of Kinect is a huge failure. If you're pretending to be a swordsman, you're not going to hold "air" and swing your arms, you're going to want to at least hold SOMETHING. The Wii may be gimmicky, but at least when you hold the Wiimote it FEELS like you're swinging the onscreen sword. When you hold the Wiimote, even without all the silly attachments, you FEEL like you're swinging a racquet or pool cue or baseball bat, or any other implement.
Basically, MS are charging us $150 (+ whatever the games cost if you're not a pirate) in order to use our childhood imagination and memories.
"Vrooooom!! I'm driving a race car!"
"Weeee!! I'm flying a plane!!"
"Chung Chung Chung!! I'm piloting a mech!!"
Seriously pathetic.

Seriously? It's not like you guy didn't see that coming! From day one of project nathal you knew it's basically a "lets jump on the wii wagon" thing and not much more. Maybe because I had low expectations from this from the start, but I think some of you are going overreacting..
Sure some games are crappy, but given the fact that haven't played them I can't really criticize them or Kinect. Also, it took a while for the devs/public to realize that the wii is not Minority Report. Same for the Kinect, it will take some time for the devs to implement that well in games.
Hoping they will use that better in RTS games or something like that, maybe a new EndWar.
So you can expect to see some more of this "hey it's the fucking you_are_the_controller future" games for a while, but after they learn how that technology works and realize the limitations of it, I expect to see it used better(Red Steel 1 -> Red Steel 2). It's just a "lets take a bite out of that Wii market" faze, it will pass in time.
For now Dance Central looks ok as a Kinect game, and pretty much an accurate use of that technology.

@cobALT
The thing is, though, that the Wii controller and Sony Move controller are still far better for gaming than that silly Natal, where you just wave your hands. With Wii controller you still have buttons to use for many tasks that can't just be given to motion gestures, like, for example, acceleration, braking, shifting, etc., which make the Natal look like the retardo version of Wii.

That's true. But Kinect's main audience aren't gamers, it's the kiddie graders and grandmas, basically the mass market that has nothing to do with gaming. And when that audience will dim down, I expect to see a better use of that technology in real games.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see some gadgets specifically for that lack of input witch, as you said, you don't have to worry about on the Wii/PS3 move.

I doubt such gadgets would be made, for the sole reason that developers can't expect everyone to have them. On the Wii, there is already a remote, so making something better that returns the same results is one thing, but making a device and expecting developers to support it - I'm not sure. Best case scenario I see for this is games having their own controller (like Guitar Hero, for example), but that's hardly a solution.
My fear is, they would dumb games even more than they do now, just so the dumbos with Natal (I refuse to use the official name!) can also play the games. If they keep it limited to dedicated games, I couldn't care less, but this is Forza ffs...

Not a whole new gadget, a redesign of the x360 gamepad; the same inputs but differently organized on the gadget so it can be used better in conjunction with the Kinect.
Microsoft talked about a new input device, some armband thing that detect muscle/ligament movement. I only saw that used with some mp3 player, and it seemed pretty good. They could work something out with that in conjunction with the motion tech from Kinect.
Wishful thinking maybe, at any case at least they can't take away my gamepad. For now.

Oh, you mean, like... the exact same thing we used to have (DS: Extraction, the Wii RE, etc) but never bitched about it because it wasn't cool to do so at the time. I see.

wait what? did you guys watch the vid? lol
you can use kinect and a gamepad in games
i'm focusing more on the whole head tracking system and shit. Fucking dope.
They can easily incorporate that into any racing game.
Subtle camera movements tracking your head. In racing thats BOMB.
Can totally immerse you into the game.
Kinect is this gens wii. It works and people love it.
Bash it when you try it.
Wii was bashed before people tried it and it became a success.
What's lol is that kinect is being bashed and sony is being accepted.
Holiday season is gonna be fun.
@djaoni
You can sit. The games demoed showed you need to stand and be active. You can play while sitting down. People have been defending this since ign posted the whole YOU CANNOT SIT ACHTUNG article. But it was mainly because IGN editors are cock suckers who don't fully listen or ask the right questions.
Day 48 buy for me. Not gonna be bothered on day one. but day 48... hands free menu. YAYEAH!
