thats not a problem if some idiot crashes into a tree, the bigger problem is the faggots which snake around with 30kmh when the first snow flake drops

As expected, some whopping 2cm of snow have managed to create complete chaos here, bringing the area to its knees again xD
We had to head back from the hills to come home, it was almost like a real-life version of Mario Kart with people just not being able to drive straight. It was comical..and scary as hell
Arriving safe at home this afternoon felt like one of those impossible steam achievements.
I'm 99.6% sure that I wouldn't survive if by any chance I visited the Scandinavian countries. Snow aside, for some arcane reason even -1°C is already more than enough to prevent my body to function properly.. I need sun asap!

I always laughed when I was in school and heard that there was going to be -15 so some of the schools in the rest of the country decided to remain closed. I come from the southern, more "hillier" part of Poland and -15 - -20 was an ordinary winter temperature. Everyone worked, went to school, cleared the snow in front of the garage if wanted to drive out and once again, an hour later, when back. And the traffic was pretty ok.
When I moved to Cracow, I was shocked, that a bit of snow can affect a city so much. Even a little bit more rain makes people drive here as if it was muuuuuuuuch worse - public transport is constantly late, most of the cars are barely moving...

I wish we had snow. For days it's -10°C to -3°C. Now apparently the weather cleared up a bit because it rained... Well but the ground was still freezing cold => no snow around but everything is covered in pure ice. Tried to get in the car... getting to the car was already almost impossible but once at the car I realized that the rain immediately froze upon contact. My whole car was covered in 3mm thick ice. I tried to scrape it, but I barely scratched the surface even though I applied full force. All rear mirrors, back window, side etc, everything completely frozen. Fucking hell. A taxi driver that passed me warned me to drive so I just went back home. Jesus.

Maybe someone will buy you proper sneakers with grip, instead of slippery ones you could go skiing with.

No it's not, it is expected that winter temperatures in europe will drop further for a while, since the glaciers in the north are melting, so the water going south is colder.

Meanwhile in the Alps, 2000+ meters, no natural snow at all . It's the first time in the last decade (at least), whereas the south of Italy is facing daily blizzards. Crazy weather is crazy
Thankfully the slopes are all open, so I can actually do some skiing, although the artificial snow isn't exactly a marvel. *it's something*
