Yep and as much as I hate activision I still think they improved in the last years.
CoD MW isn’t the best game out there but the effort put on this game is quite major for activision.
They could have ignored dedicated server, a proper pc version, cross platform, free dlc... they didn’t. People would have bought the game anyway. Yet they decided to ship a better game.
u know whats super funny.. apparantly the game is now online only, BUT it does NOT have cloud saving ... so your savefile only stays on the local machine, no cloud saving in 2020 ...
blizzard are massive cheap outsourcing everything CUNTS
I get that the release has many issues, but some of the complaints are overblown and not objective. There's this tendency to "overshoot" and exaggerate everything - when something goes bad, people will nitpick and make arguments to claim that it's an insult to the original etc.
For instance, the patch being 2GB large is really not a serious issue in today's day and age - Hearthstone patches on my phone are sometimes nearly 1GB. There was also a similar (and highly popular) thread on reddit about how the menus were poorly coded. These complaints would never get traction if the original release was fine. And they unfortunately lead to non-objective reviews scores and feed into the recent public outrage culture and crowd mentality (for instance, for all its shortcomings, objectively the game should NOT have a 0.8 metascore rating).

It reminds me of this hypothetical situation:
Persons A, B, C: "That guy is a murderer! He killed 10 babies yesterday!"
Person D following up on that: "Oh yeah, and he wears pink socks! Can you imagine, pink socks?"

During Activision’s financial conference call for investors and analysts, Chief financial officer Dennis Durkin teased treats for lovers of older franchises.
Previously, each graphics card would be tied to two games out of a preselected three, with one of the 5500 XT’s games being Warcraft 3: Reforged. But, along with the addition of the 5600 XT, AMD has now also removed Warcraft 3: Reforged from the list (via Fudzilla).
amd dont even wanna give the shit away for free anymore lol
No. That's a vidya gaem journalist from ign.
Chobot. She's a paid fanboy. But actually likes games.
Riiiight. The chick from mass effect.
Man she looks much better in real life.
Haha yeah, her "reporter" in ME3 was by far the most blatantly hamfisted and uninteresting character in the universe. Then Andromeda came out and made it look like the norm.
