No haven't applied anything. Now for some strange reason I can't get this game to work anymore since I was kicked off the servers, it just goes to a black screen after the dolby logo I've tried everything.

Seems like there are legit players who are also having this issue. If i were to guess i'd think it's the devs trying to kick out pirates, but also catch legit players in the process. I hope if it's so that they are forced to back down.

Yeh, people are speculating that they can see people running backups and are banning/blocking.
This is working for some people......If you reset your modem/router and get a new ip address you can create a new account and get on for a while.

tbh? i dont think treyarch can identify pirated copies unless you use the dlc which isn registred on your account. they said that to scare people off

I was able to play online on Friday and Saturday just fine, the moment I played on Sunday, played in one FFA game, got kicked off line, and have not been able to log back in at all, even under different accounts, I even changed my IP address. That was the EU version.
I tried the USA version right now, and still cannot get online. So both version are not working online, they might be able to tell if we are playing legit or not, if they are I think we are banned from logging in. I will know for sure tomorrow when I get my legit copy and try it on my other PS3 system.

was just a matter of time, sure sony has a way to detect cfw (simple filecheck integrity check on firmware would be enough i think)
@Oddmaker: nah, build in cdkey? would be to much hazzle on the production line (if its even possible), could be only the case if the leak was on purpose i.e. honeypot

Not trying to start a flame war, but are the PS3 version graphics very bad compared to the xbox ? like it's 'zoomed' in a bit with blurrier textures
I have xbox and ps3 and am just wondering if there's something up with my ps3 ? i don't use it for games that much.

Your PS3 is fine. The PS3 version uses heavy blur against aliasing: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-black-ops-2-on-console

Yeah, no kidding. Someone should show Treyarc games like Killzone 3, Uncharted 3, God of War 3 and many more that look amazing on PS3. Because clearly either they are lazy, or they are spending that under the table money Microsoft payed them to make the PS3 version look and run like utter shit on purpose.
Now I'm wondering how the Wii U version is going to look.
