Can you play enderal alongside skyrim's normal campaign? Is it like an extra area?
Or is it a totally seperat campaign?

Thanks

Played skyrim at launch when it didnt have any dlcs and i was sailing the 7 seas. Bought skyrim legendary edition last year and was planning on replaying it.

The question is original skyrim with dlcs and gfx mods or enderal?

Are the sidequests as good or better?
Are there additions to the combat system?

Feb 14. Very Happy

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Open enblocal.ini in the main install folder and change FixLag=false - see if it makes a difference. Might need to adjust the VideoMemorySizeMb based on your GPU, too.

Frametimes where really shit for me at ultra cause of the shadows, lowering fShadowDistance fixed it completly (and shadows look a lot better as well) default is 8000 which is just way too high about 2500 to 5000 is a good compromise, i use 2500 cause i really don't like blocky shadows.

Since this is a re-release of their mod, can I assume bugs are pretty much gone?

No. Crashes like every other level load (at least for me)...

It's a fairly good attempt, but I feel they've tried too hard to fill the game with lots of lore and stuff, which ultimately just feels confusing and cluttered. Far too many 'random' wolves, I mean seriously, they have a real canine infestation issue.

Don't like the mana poisoning thing, unnecessary gaming mechanic (IMO of course), which ultimately limits you to not bothering with it.

I'm not that far in though, so I'll keep playing. Personally I think this would have been better kept in the Scroll's universe, but just set somewhere different. Oh and boys voice acting females is just...wrong...

Good to know. I'll play it in german then.

Haha yeah, German is the way to go with SureAI. Even if I can't understand a single word I can definitely tell that the voices and inflections always fit the characters extremely well. Razz

Elementalism is very strong in the beginning at least, although entropy might scale better for endgame considering you get a damage bonus from skill increase. Early summons can completely carry you as well so if you wanna wreck shit right from the beginning of the game, caster's the way to go.

If you aren't interested in pure caster, I'd look at the lycanthrope tree maybe; it's got some pretty cool mechanics related to alchemy and should augment any of the three archetypes nicely. A nice oh shit button even for that run-of-the-mill stealth archer. Razz

The new phasmalism tree is interesting too since it basically lets you outfit and customize one very powerful summon, but sadly you need to sacrifice an amulet slot to use that, which then means no tasty full armor set bonuses.

I'm having a weird problem with audio. In dialogue the volume is very low when I am staring at the target, but it's normal when I look left or right. It's like the game is using some weird surround mixing while I have stereo speakers. Did anyone else experience this?

I'm using stereo speakers. Could it be a Windows issue? This never happened before so I assumed it was the game.

It's a Skyrim issue, not specific to Enderal. Check your system settings: https://steamcommunity.com/app/489830/discussions/0/135508292192723517/

I've played a couple hours of this, I find it unbelievable how a group of modders created something better and more interesting than Bethesda since Morrowind. It's still the same crappy engine, the same bullshit combat, but the rest is great. Good job.

Yep, this and Nehrim (which sadly will never be properly finished Sad).
Liked it to the point of paying for it, too

I'm playing a sword an shield guy, level 12 and exploring the area between Ark and Riverville. I have the swashbuckler set at 103 total armor. My problem is that I am still using a shitty 12 damage mace I crafted. Is that normal at this stage? I had to lower difficulty to adept because I kept getting my ass kicked, it takes too long to take out a group Sad
Any tips on getting a proper one hander at this stage?

I've been playing this for some time now, I'm level 28 atm, I find it unbelieveable how good this is compared to Skyrim and Oblivion. I can say its almost at the same level as Morrowind. I expected a fun but disjointed mess, but this shit plays like it's made by a professional studio Very Happy The story unfolds in such a natural way and some side quests have some unexpected turns. The dialogue and VA is also good, with some excellent work from the bigger characters. It all seems seamless and the flow of it all is just excellent, I just can't believe a group of amateurs did this for fun.
Shame on you Bethesda, shame on you. I've lost all faith in the upcoming TES. If your two last big RPGs are put to shame by a mod project, you're fucked.

I will bump this goddamn thread untill everbody plays it Mad

I've finished it, didn't even do all the bounty/collect quests, it took 83 hours. What a glorious experience it has been, unbelievable this is a mod. I'd give it a solid 8.5, I even consider that low since I deduct a point because of the engine. Technicaly it's average to good, as a game it's excellent. What really amazed me most of all is the cohesion of it all, this mod seems to have had better directing than most AAA RPGs Surprised
