The premise is stupid. Railroad spanning the globe at -120 C, yeah that will hold up for long.
Other than that being TNT doesn't exactly get ones hopes up any higher. The cast seems ok so there's that. It's getting slaughtered on RT and Meta though.
Why don't they spread the episodes out or release them all at once?
I don't get why they would release 10 episodes on one day
One episode per week, every sunday. Total of 10 episodes for the season
I didn't know about the movie nor the book beforehand - might have heard about it but never got curious enough. I'm not going to watch the movie now though But I feel like I can see a ridiculous kind of ending coming up.
The series so far is okay-ish, very Netflix in quality, but it's the whole concept that drives me to watch it more than anything else. That and an above-average cast.
The CGI on the other hand.. ouch, I laughed hard
imagine not wanting to watch the original, a bong joon ho movie, but instead watch a garbage from tnt
I'm not going to watch it for now, aka for the time being, my swampy friend..
If this proves to be very good, then I might wait for the series' ending; if it doesn't or starts deviating from the original story too much, then I'll watch the movie.. or better yet, read the book.
Is that good with you or am I getting the pear treatment ?
Bonus question for those in the know : does the movie cover the whole book series ?
you should have just watched the movie first regardless because its really good, now that element of surprise/mistery is lost. ive seen it looks and has many shots very similar from the movie but from what i read some character roles are switched.
I agree. Really enjoying the show. As mentioned, the train is not the focus and is more just the "stage" of everything. I'm only 3 episodes in but looking forward to the rest.

Who cares about gameplay. It's one of the few next-gen looking titles out there so BRING IT ON.
Does the quality improve after the first two eps, or is this it?
Same opinion as Sin (didn't see the film though), it gets better, I'm at ep5 and it's fun for what it is, nothing groundbreaking but it's agreeable enough so far.
Maybe a stupid question, but why don't they just disconnect the last wagon of the train?
Because they forcibly linked themselves to it afaik, Wilford would have disconnected Big Anne from Snowpiercer in order to recover the train (with everyone onboard long dead) after the next revolution. Melanie outsmarted him and effectively linked the two permanently when she planted that explosive charge, forcing Wilford to cooperate for the time being - she taunted him about it, since he overbuilt the uplink despite her warnings about it, which allowed her to do the permanent link.
That plus Snowpiercer is in dire need of the supplies carried by Big Anne, I figure Melanie will have some plans for that - seems like she's the only one with a working mind in there, but I digress
I'm enjoying the new season thus far, CBA to care about Layton and his family affairs though.. Thankful Sean Bean is here to carry this in the absence of Jennifer Connelly.
