I'm sorry, I thought I was posting the Immigration points specifically but it's all in one page.

So to be specific I was laughing at the pro-arguments in the immigration section. Very unconvincing imo. Interesting page though.

I think people should evaluate the path Europe is walking. If you like it, go ahead, vote for more of this, vote for yes. Stay on this path or get off it, simple.

Note that Brussels is having riots against austerity, their chief of police got his ass handed to him Laughing

EDIT:
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36376655

He was pepper spraying rioters and got ktfo

He shows a lot of zeal, really goes after them (because he isn't up against muslim rioters I'm guessing)

I will gather my thoughts: Those pro-immigration arguments for staying in the EU sound very unconvincing and I implore any UK voters to be careful about that. And be careful with the possibility of turkish visas, heh. Also, there are economic problems everywhere from Greece to Brussels it seems.

Are those anti-austerity riots usual in Brussels?

Video was a bonus Laughing

Dunno but protests and to some point riots are common there
It's the place to whine on the EU, Belgian federal state, Nato,... so lot's of things to bitch about.

Hell even whining on the Walloon or Flanders governement ends up in Brussels most of the time xD

@VGAdeadcafe: About immigration policies, we Europeans are getting extinct slowly:
http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php/File:Total_fertility_rate,_1960%E2%80%932014_(live_births_per_woman)_YB16.png
http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php/Fertility_statistics

You need to have a fertility rate of approximately 2.1 to maintain a certain population.
Whether you like it or not we allow a lot of immigration to compensate for low birth rates.

http://www.encyclopedia.com/article-1G2-3460500080/population-europe-demographic-transition.html

European countries were just fine on lower population, noone is becoming extinct, dude, just the population dropping over several decades.

I think mass immigration is throwing oil to the first, you think it's the solution. Both opinions are arguably valid, the difference is what will the future Europe be in each of these two paths? Who knows, I'd rather have politicians who avoid racial strife, religious differences, the rise of the farright and the combative liberals, nonexistant border control, terrorism and criminality.

I don't see the population being "maintained" with immigration, I see it absolutely ballooning, in a desperate attempt to keep the markets growing. Don't tell me you think this will end well.

Anyway, I don't want to turn this into an immigration discussion, it gets tiring. Besides, like you said "whether I like it or not", this will continue, so ... whatever.

So basically an Irishman migrating to London is like an afghan migrating to London? So he's a hypocrite, you say?

So someone from Cyprus that migrated to Greece decades ago cannot complain about pakistanis coming to Greece? Because he also was an immigrant?

Well, ok I didn't watch the video but this compulsion to conflate every type of immigration is very annoying.

An irishman moving to London is not the same as an afghan moving to London. Half a million irishmen moving to the UK is not the same as half a million people from the ME and Africa moving to the UK.

If we can't agree on these inconvenient truths then all discussions on the matter of immigration devolve into internet arguments and omg nazism is on the rise.

Sure it's not the same, but they are both immigrants.

Technically they are both immigrants but when discussing immigration or attacking someone's reasons for voting something, you cannot use it as a serious argument. That article is doing exactly that and so are many commenters.

Put yourself in his place, irishman living in the UK for who knows how may fucking decades, being disappointed with the way things are going, he believes all this influx is making it difficult for locals to get jobs, says he will vote to leave the EU so that the influx stops ... and some newfags tell him that when he moved to London, he was basically doing the same thing that a muslim from Morocco is doing when coming to London and that he's a retarded hypocrite Laughing

How is that for a punch in the soul? It's stuff like this that should make people realize the extent of the nihilistic view of religion/culture/ethinicity in most european countries. The most diverse ones.

Good, good, now we can pinpoint the differences in our opinions. You believe that a moroccan is just as much entitled to live legally and get a job in London as an irishman is.

We're not discussing legality, are we?
But yes, if he's legally living there, why is it any different?

How many people have got in illegally and then applied for asylum and gotten it? I mean, how many people entered illegally and *then* became legal residents?

Anyway, let's just say he doesn't want more people being let in to live legally in London. He wants out of the EU, is he entitled to that opinion? Or is he a retard for not accepting a couple of millions more?

I don't know, are we discussing numbers now? At first your point was this:

Then you moved to the legality issue, now you want to talk about numbers. Is it possible for you to answer one thing at a time?

What, we were discussing. If someone is living legally somewhere, he is entitled to the same job opportunities. The thing is that he doesn't want more immigrants getting the right to live legally there.

We made our points with regards to the differences in immigration already.

I'll be voting to remain

And to add, I'm fucking bored of gearing both sides go at it. The politicians will tell you anything to get you to vote for the side which backs their personal cause the most.

If you're looking to the polititcans for facts, more fool you.
