I said I don't believe there's one true source telling the one complete truth and which would be impartial, only the accumulation of varyingly biased sources which have been confirmed to be serious in the sense that they use facts ( how they present it is where the bias lies ) and are somewhat reputable so you don't lose your time/are told straight-up lies agreeing can convince you of the information's trustworthiness - unless you're willing to check things for yourself, but I doubt that'd work more than 10km away from your home. I feel that as long as you multiply the angles, you'll "triangulate" what's very probably the journalistic truth. Other non-informal sources are to be taken with an extra grain of salt, but that doesn't disqualify them either. I don't only take reputation in account, I make my own opinion of how biased a source is according to my own research and judgement - however biased it might be, I can only rely on it
Of course, if you want the perfect utopian information you seem to suggest here, even on the tiniest of subject, then you're going to need a whole lot of time and dedication I find that painting a picture you'll want broader and broader so that you fully understand the ins and outs of any given subject is fascinating to me.
