Watched the first episode
Seems like it will be better than Boba Fett / Obi One
Some of the worst dialogue I've ever heard though
Fights weren't very good
Too much purple hair
Andor has ruined everything

her face looks like plastic, and she has 0 personality. ive looked over some scenes from the animated show and is much better there, but in this show she seems very flat, same in mandolol

god, 10 minutes wasted on alien cat and asian cool kiddo zzzz, what a waste of the bike scene , i guess thats the level of aspiration for young girls these days ... to aspire to be old lonely catladies who "dont give a fuck" ... as if there isnt enough sad lonely alcoholic women with pets on this planet enough already
darth vader needed a whole army of infantry stormtroopers to take over a tiny escort frigate transporting the princess, these two take on a whole fakking cruiser alone, get the fuck out of here

I don't think this show is woke, it's just a continuation of Rebels with the characters from the animated show.
The show is.. "ok'ish" but I feel that it's 100% aimed at the animated Clone Wars and esp. Rebels millennials. Some of the dialogue is cringe, the retconning of Morgan Elsbeth was weird and the show feels too cartoonish. Visually it's great and some parts are good. I'm not interested in the Ahsoka + Sabine storyline (or any of the Clone Wars/Rebels stuff, neither of which I was ever a fan of or even liked) which makes this show, for me, a bit meh. Total fanservice for the prequel generation.
And that alien cat, damn is it ugly. It looks like a shitzu with the face of Greez from Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor.

I've never seen any of the animated stuff, but I actually thought ep 3 was pretty good.
Dialogue was still poor but it is starting to feel quite like star wars

Nothing amazing, but acceptable enough.

Overall I like his recommendations but lately the antiwoke schtick gets boring as the movies and tv series he mostly focus on. But that's what gives him views so if he has to hate a movie for small kids like Little Mermaid so be it as much as it is cringe for 40+ grown ass man to review movies for children.
