Apparently some time in March 2026. What is the point of these delays in 2026? Is there a theater still that this can be seen in? It's just outdated thinking on studios part. My guess is even not studios, but a few halo directors with power over the studios, like Cameron and Nolan, that are pushing for these irrational delays … because "muh theaturr expurriunzusss" nostalgia that gen z and gen a sorely lack, after growing up in COVID times.
another waste for cameron, visually stunning of course but just a waste of a movie. at least the first one was something new, this third one is like the second which was like the first
there is no need for more just move on....just fucking do something else, u can see it in the action scenes that he still got it its just such a waste....if this had proper writers and better characters and some actors sure, fucking cringe ass dialogue, over 3h runtime for this shit
Story totally sucks but i kind of enjoyed the second movie. At least its not another attempt at Star Wars. Its nowhere near a 9-10, more like a weak 7, enjoyable enough.
I do hate Cameron though, he seems like such a fucking douchebag. I love how angry AI makes him haha a lot of the effects in Avatar 2 was so bad, AI could EASILY have made a lot of scenes + faces there better, and costing millions less lol. The character faces are sometimes like a 2016-2017 game. Cameron, you mad bro?
I love these. Enjoyed the third one as well. To be honest, each one is better than the previous. The first one was really dumb, but with the newer ones, they play all the strings I enjoy. No masterpieces by any stretch of the imagination, but they have a lot of heart. Cameron, for better or worse, knows how to push a studio to put a three hour movie that has enough air to breathe. The action is stupid, but there is enough fat around to make them enjoyable for me. 🤷♂️ That’s why the first was the weakest, it lacked most of what is there in the newer ones.
I don't know, Fire and Ash felt more like an episode of "stories from Pandora". The first and second movies had more novelty, this just seemed like a rehash building on the previous entries. The bad guys are stupidly evil and seem to never learn and I'm sure they will all be back again for Avatar 4. Other than some character development nothing has really changed after the ending. By all means, it was still a well done and atmospheric movie. Enjoyable nevertheless, but also kinda forgettable. It didn't feel as long as it was and that is an accomplishment on its own.
