I'm still only in sector 4 (out of 12 in total?), and the game is getting a bit stale already (the gameplay loop is pretty basic) and I'm abusing the manual save quite a lot Laughing
The RNG has XCOM tendencies, often failing with 90% success chance Very Happy

I'm only on sector 3, and I'm quite enjoying it so far. I also did savescum a bit, but mainly just to see what different choice outcomes get you. It was really surprising that you can lose major characters to story events, or even get non canonical ones to join the crew. Basic story presentation, but it's really faithful to the show. Mature, and at least trying to be smart. Combat is lousy, though. Confusing and shallow.

You can lose the entire main cast (except Janeway), if you're not careful Very Happy
I'm in sector 8, still enjoying it. It's a rather shallow game, to be honest. I almost maxed out the tech trees and I think the game has 15 or 16 sectors? So about halfway.
But it's nice to see where the story is going.

I'm back to savescumming. Some things are just not well thought of. Like, I've converted my Voyager into a massive freighter so I can stock it up with various minerals. Level 2 Cargo Bay, Borg babe! I go to an event, get lucky with RNG (that can kill a few of my crew members, crash a shuttle, or get me in a fight, if I roll the dice wrongly), then I lose more than half of my reward, because I forgot to turn on power on my storage rooms. That's just not logical.
I'm playing on normal, and it's not an easy game. Some of it is fair difficulty, some is just questionable designs.

Man, I really must praise roleplaying in this game. It's a mini rpg with decisions that actually do matter. I've recruited Torark, a predator like villain of the show in a very fringe and surprising route of a sidequest. I thought that he'll be like the rest of non canon recroutable NPC's, that do nothing. Not this guy. First, he asks me to research and build him a Borg Cutting Beam room, then he starts a fight club on my ship. I'm pretty sure that you can even do a psycho Janeway route.
